Many of you know, Jess and I recently went on a BIG buying trip. It was my first time buying and it was a BLAST!!!! So many great things to pick from, I didn’t even know where to begin. The trip was short, but we managed to pack in some long days!

Boxes of the new merchandise have been arriving daily! I bought so many that each box I open I am surprised to see what I find, lol! I think there are going to be a lot of happy customers on Thursday evening…

As a reminder this Thursday is the Trunk Show from 5pm-8pm at both locations.

Our stores will be closed from 2pm-5pm as we get ready for the BIG REVEAL!!! We will also have drinks and snacks to offer you as you shop, and a raffle! So be sure to grab your friend and get here early!

I love when fall comes around! The magazines are thicker, jeans are a staple item again and wearing boots are optional wear everyday. I have a million more reasons why I love fall, but I’ll spare you the details.

Being that fall is just about here so are new purses and trends. Today we got about 8 new handbags in and I am loving the colors. Matted greys, vibrant blue, camel brown, and fuchsia pinks–need I say more… The best part is this is only the beginning of what is to come. Here are some of the bags we just got in! This is a very special issue with a very special announcement….our Marion location is now under new ownership! Kate Ungs, who many of you know as the manager of the Marion shop, and who has been a great addition to the Purse-N-ality team over the past few years, is now the proud owner!

We wanted to take this time to inform you that our policies will remain the same, and that we will continue to work together to bring you new merchandise every week & the highest level of customer service!

Along with our new owner, we will be giving our Facebook, Twitter, WordPress Blog & Website a face-lift! We are striving to make these sites more user-friendly & we appreciate your patience during these changes.

FALL TRUNK SHOWS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23!

Mark your calendars girls! Both shops have scheduled Fall Trunk Shows for Thursday September 23 from 5pm – 8pm! Be the first to view our biggest shipment of the season!

Our shops will be closed from 2pm – 5pm on the 23rd while we haul out the existing inventory and bring in the new merchandise. We will re-open at 5 pm with hundreds of brand new fall bags and accessories on display & ready to be taken home to your closet!

We’ll have lots of complimentary beverages (including our signature margaritas) and snacks for you to enjoy while you shop & don’t forget that all purchases earn you points towards your rewards account with us!

CEDAR FALLS HAPPENINGS:

The 5th annual art festival on Main Street will be held Saturday September 11, 2010 on the streets and sidewalks of historic Cedar Falls, Iowa from 9am – 4pm.

Held annually, the juried show brings many talented artists from throughout the region. In addition, there is something for everyone to enjoy as downtown is filled with artist demonstrations, entertainment and children’s activities.

Stop in to Purse-N-ality of Cedar Falls at 410 Main Street to check out the great specials we’ll be offering during this event!

MARION HAPPENINGS

SWAMP FOX FESTIVAL SEPTEMBER 17, 18 & 19

A celebration of the past and the present, the annual Swamp Fox Festival honors Marion’s namesake and Revolutionary War hero, Francis Marion, aka Swamp Fox.

Some of the many scheduled events include a golf outing, picnic in the park, live music, craft show, 5K run and fun walk, a pancake breakfast & community parade.

Be sure to check out the Swamp Fox activities at Lowe Arts and Entertainment Center on Sunday September 19th. Lowe Park is located at 4500 N 10th Street.

Love it or Leave it???

I’ve notice that the fall colors seem to be metallic, grey, military green, camel, and rich purple (to name a few). More importantly I have notice the clutches getting smaller and smaller. I love them, but how are you suppose to fit anything in them… It seems that there is only room for your id, check card and lipstick! I’m all about packing light but would definitely be an adjustment. Would you be able to carry the mini clutches?
